چکیده
A study was carried out to investigate into the availability of cassava residues and by products utilization for goat production in Odeda local government area Ogun state. Data collected through a structured questionnaire coupled with occasional farm visits personal interviews, from farmers involved goats cassava. Results showed that is major crop cultivation different varieties common. Cassava leaves, peels sieviate were common by-products available most used these feed their goats. The response based diets investigated using sixteen (16) West African dwarf goats, aged 4 6 months average body weight 6.5kg completely randomized design. four treatments namely (diets D) contained varying levels repli performance increased (P < 0.05) increasing level leaves diets. Weight gain ranged 30.02 37.85g/day across dietary treatments. In conclusion, are readily fed diet C consisting 50% 30% 20% produced best terms intake, digestibility gain. This can therefore be recommended as combination strategy making use feeding Nigeria.

Energy-Efficient Production of Cassava-Based Bio-Ethanol
Fuel ethanol is an important renewable and sustainable fuel, produced in China by fermentation of mostly corn, wheat and cassava feedstock. Fermentation produces an ethanol-lean broth (10 to 12 vol%). Ethanol is recovered by distillation, followed by a molecular sieve drying beyond the azeotropic point. The distillation and molecular sieve operations consume most of the total energy used, with ...

متن کاملEthanol production from a biomass mixture of furfural residues with green liquor-peroxide saccarified cassava liquid
BACKGROUND As the most abundant renewable resources, lignocellulosic materials are ideal candidates as alternative feedstock for bioethanol production. Cassava residues (CR) are byproducts of the cassava starch industry which can be mixed with lignocellulosic materials for ethanol production. The presence of lignin in lignocellulosic substrates can inhibit saccharification by reducing the cellu...
